The AHEC Mission-
is to enhance access to quality health care.
Particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply and distribution of health care professionals through community/academic educational partnerships.

Success-
is the result of hard work, skill, and placement.
Placement is what we are about. We believe that the proper placement of hard-working, skilled professionals creates successful careers for individuals, and a successful health care system for the community.

The Central and Eastern Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is a program designed to improve the health care for the medically underserved populations in Michigan and to increase the number of health care providers in underserved areas. It is our mission to serve both rural and urban areas. In an effort to improve the supply and distribution of health professionals, we have developed recruitment programs to address the Michigan nursing workforce shortage.

Central and Eastern Michigan-
The best of both worlds.
Here you will find technological and civic amenities of an urban environment just a short drive from the country life.
